Undergraduate (Bachelor’s): IELTS Academic 6.0 overall (CEFR B2) is accepted for English proficiency.
Foundation Programme: Students with lower scores (from ~5.0) can join a foundation year to improve English before starting studies.
Postgraduate (MBA): IELTS Academic 6.5 overall is typically required for master’s entry.
Exemptions may apply if your previous education was in English or you hold certain English-language diplomas/citizenships.
Offer & Acceptance
After you submit your application with all documents and attend the intake, Tio will review and send your admission decision (offer); once you pay the required fees your place is confirmed. There isn’t a fixed published timeline, but admissions teams typically respond within several weeks after full submission.
Visa / “CAS‑like” Process
In the Netherlands, Tio doesn’t issue a UK‑style CAS letter. Instead, once you’re accepted and pay the package fee, Tio starts your student visa/MVV & residence permit process with Dutch immigration. This process begins after payment and can take several weeks depending on IND and embassy processing
